YoZ! Back from the3D2N Sec 3 Camp, slept from 2pm till 6pm... Hahax! But still feel kinda sleepy... -_-''' Erm... So here it goes...
Day 1
Went to school to assemble at normal school time, went through the thermometer taking exercise, got into our groupings and settled down. My group includes Calvin, Chun Hui, Christopher, Kuan Wei, Gloria, Lee Zhen, and the 3Ns. As usual, the tachers will ask us to surrender our valuable and handphones and blah... We boarded the bus and off we go to the MOE Dairy Farm campsite. Upon reaching, there is ANOTHER surrendering exercise. This looks like we are reaching the Woodlands Causeway! Hahax! Needa surrender here and there... Then we went to settle down at our bunk and assembled together for our first activity.
Our first activity was ice-breakers, so we spent the whole morning doing that until lunch time. After lunch, we went to one of the bunks to discuss on our performance which will be held during the campfire. Soon, we set off for our CRC (Challenge Rope Course) activity at the campsite. My group went to do the "Cargo Net" first. At one sight, it looks high, but when u reach the platform, it doesn't I crossed to the other end and met Gabriel just alighting the platform - he was doing the other type of CRC. So, I couldn't go down, and I had to cross back to my starting point... Hahax! Kinda fun la, just that you need to use alot of ur arms' muscles to keep you going on the net. Then, it started raining... Haiz... So we had to stop, and went to a bunk to continue discussing about our performance together with Group 1.
After some time, our trainers get pissed off due to some incorperate people. But still, we got something out of it in the end. Dinner time!!! After dinner, we had some night activities. Before the night activity, we practised the campfire songs. The trainers were very funny la. The night activity is something like a "Night Walk". The girls were like so paranoid whenever they tep on something or knock onto something. After the activity, we went for our supper, then shower (someone found a Kotex wrapper in one of the girls' cubical! Hahax!), then lights off!
Day 2
Rise and Shine! Went to wash up and assembled at a given time for breakfast. After breakfast, we went for kayaking. WOOHOO!!! After reaching Raffles Marina for the kayaking, we were briefed on how to kayak and such. We were pairef, put on our life vest and went to the shore. This is the disgusting part - everybody were asked to go into the water with your shoes on, clothes on, and float on the water for a test of the life vest. Then we went to the shore to push our kayak to the water and off we go! After kayaking, everybody smelt like seaweed! Hahax! Nothing much to say about this activity la, coz' not enough time, but it was fun!
After kayaking, we went to the next activity at the same location - rock climbing. I climbed until the halfway mark and couldn't tahan anymore... Hahax! Arms no strength liao... :P Calvin and Lee Zhen managed to ring the bell - which means they reached the top. One surprising thing is that, Chun Hui could not even manage to cross the red line ( for those who had tried, should know what I am talking about)! Hahax! He felt so embarrassed...
We left Raffles Marina and went back to our campsite for our lunch. After lunch, we went for absailing! So fun! At first, while I was walking the stairs up the tower, I am already feeling kinda scared when I saw the height! Hahax! When you first make the first step out of the tower, I amd kinda scared la, but as you go down the tower, you can feel the shiok-nedd in you! Very very fun! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :D After absailing, we were supposed to try the flying fox from the same tower, same height, very scary! But it started raining again, so off we go for another rehearsal for the performance. Everything went well... After a period of time, it stopped raining, and we continued to go for another CRC. This time was walking on thin ropes without any support. I never get to try it because we don't have sufficient time. Then, we continue on our performance. After which, we went for some team-building games. Kinda fun... Hahax!
Then we went for dinner. The dinner was the best meal of the whole camp man! Most appetising! Lol! After dinner, we went to practised a little bit of the campfire songs before going for the campfire later. 2 trainers were there to lead them, and their own claps were very funny and bo liao sia! Maybe gonna include it in the Sec 1 Camp next year :D. The setting up of the fire of the campfire was great. They used sparklers to light up the campfire. Very nice! I love the set-up! After campfire, we went for our shower first, then for supper. Lights Off!!!
Day 3
Woke up in the morning and then wash up... Assembled at the given time for breakfast. After breakfast, we went to pack up our things and brought our stuffs to the assembly area. All of my dirty clothes couldn't squeeze into my main bag, so I have to hang one of the plastic bags outside. Then, my group and the other group went to clean the whole canteen. The girls do the mopping while the boys were the reserves! Hahax! After cleaning, we went to fill up some evaluation form and took a group photo. Then came the prize presentation ceremony. Our group never win anything, but nevertheless, we had fun! Soon, we bid goodbye to the campsite and some of the trainers. Kinda sad la, coz' we had fun in the camp together and you know... Ya...
After reaching school, Damien, Ze Yi and I went for lunch at the nearby coffee shop, and went back to get our report book. I failed my Combined Humanities (D7) but managed to get 9th in class positition, and 10th in level position. WOOHOO!!!
